Setting up a Workstation: why and how

Session Content

The session focuses on safe work practices and injury risk factors common to workstation based work, including the nature of occupational overuse syndrome. The session includes a practical component whereby participants perform their own workstation adjustment and then have it reviewed by our consultant. Staff will be left with an understanding of ergonomic issues, and the skill to apply the injury prevention principles.

Manual Handling

Session Content

The session focuses on safe work practices and manual handling injury risk factors, including the nature of back related problems. This session includes a practical component in which participants perform manual handling tasks relevant to their jobs. Staff will be left with an understanding of ergonomic issues, and the skill to apply the prevention principles.
